Meet Me Halfway

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button had lived up to high expectations. The story offers a unique story of what if you were born old and die young. Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett had been excellent to their portrayal of lovers who were against time. The flawless make-up of the characters is worth accolades from award giving bodies.

My favorite actor in the movie is Quennie, the soft hearted woman who treated Benjamin as her real son. She was funny and compassionate in the same time. While the best scene was when Benjamin sat with his estranged, dying father to watch the sunrise together. The prologue and the epilogue about the clock added an interesting twist. While putting the real time when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans was disturbingly eerie.

The movie is a riveting story about what true love is, it waits for its time as Benjamin and Daisy met halfway. And as the Angel of Death arrives, you will peacefully let go of the one you love, no matter how painful it is, and just wait for your time to reunite again.
